The VCCS-EDLT is a collection of resources and tools that allows for the twenty-three community colleges in Virginia's Community College System to share in a collaborative and consistent approach to external program review for fully online asynchronous degree and certificate programs offered across the commonwealth.

As members of Virginia's Community College System, our mission is to support continuous improvement in the delivery of online education, ensuring that all online programs meet high standards of academic quality and student success.

VCCS-EDLT Dashboard
The Dashboard provides an intuitive application platform for institutions to request a program review and for faculty members (full or part-time, including administrative faculty) to apply to become a certified EDLT program reviewer. Whether you're a college representative having a program reviewed or a certified program reviewer, it’s your central hub for tracking and managing program evaluations.

Rubrics
Here, you'll find the rubrics used in the external review process. These criteria ensure that your program meets VCCS-EDLT’s rigorous standards in areas such as curriculum and learning outcomes, faculty credentialing and workload, facilities and resources, and use of technology. Detailed explanations of each rubric category help guide your program improvements.

The History section provides an overview of the VCCS-EDLT project including a timeline, members of the workgroup, and the formation of a steering committee.
